This north facing garden features a cubby and many deciduous trees including Silver Birch (Betula pendula) edible cherries (Prunus avium ‘Stella’), Crepe Myrtles (Lagerstoemia indica x L.faurie)i, Forest Pansy (Cercis Canadensis), a changing coloured Maple (Acer palmatum) and an Illawarra Flame Tree (Brachychiton acerifolius). Smaller plants include Japanese Wind flowers (Anemone japonica x hybrid), Australian native Silver spurflower (Plectranthus argentatus), Blue Bugle, (Ajuga reptans) and perfumed Gardenias (Gardenia jasminoides ‘Professor Pucci) and various bulbs. Edibles include lettuces, rhubarb and strawberry plants, along with a range of herbs that are located close to the kitchen and dining area.

A silver theme predominates with Silver Dichondra (Dichaondra argentea ‘Silver Falls’), Society Garlic (Tulbghia violacea ‘Silver Lace’) and a variegated euphorbia, (Euphorbia characias ‘Silver Swan’) underneath a gorgeous deciduous purple Smoke Bush (Cotinus coggygria ‘Royal Purple’) and the red flowering South African Orchid Bush (Bauhinia galpinii).
